Halloween Table Spider Web

The Tiny Funnel
This Halloween I'm working on a few projects (all in my head right now) called "10 minute crafts and snacks". I'm trying to use things from around the house (you know I love milk jugs!) and make projects that are VERY fast, easy and inexpensive to produce.

Two years ago year I made a glitter spiderweb and this year--it's a 3-D paint web.

Materials:
  • Puffy paint/fabric paint/3-D paint (found in the T-shirt section of the craft store). It comes in a small bottle or a large bottle (use your coupon!)
  • Baking parchment paper
  • A piece of paper (mine is 12" x 12")
  • Pencil and eraser
  • Sharpie marker

1. Draw a spiderweb with using pencil on the piece of paper (adjust if necessary- i.e. erase).
2. Go over the shape with a sharpie marker.
3. Lay the spider design on a flat transportable surface such as a plastic lid, baking pan or flat cardboard such as a pizza box.
4. Lay a piece of parchment paper over the design (you can use wax paper in a pinch).
5. Trace over the spider shape with the 3-D paint.

6. Put the project in a safe place to dry overnight.
7. Peel the web up from the parchment paper (very easy- not as easy with wax paper).
