the paper cupcake cups ¾ full instead of 2/3 full so that the tops are round
when baked- I made 10 muffins total instead of 12.

The Apple Caramel Kit contains 6 popsicle (you will need more) sticks and a plastic tub of caramel (found in the near the apples in the produce section of the store).
After the initial heating, move the caramel to a glass microwavable container (a one cup measuring cup works nicely) so that it can be easily reheated.
Dip
the muffin top into caramel and scrape the excess caramel on the edge of the
container and then roll in the crushed nuts.

not to make them too far ahead- our caramel got soft over night.
